Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vallda's Melker Alfors started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Joachim Sefastsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norsjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Sefastsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Östman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Åhman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Alfors in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Norsjö's zone, Melker Alfors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Åhman came out of the goal and Melker Alfors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melker Alfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Erik Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Joel Rosendal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norsjö and the Vallda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Joel Rosendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melker Alfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Viktor Giliusson made a precise shot to the right of Åke Östman. Vallda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Melker Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Örtendal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Vallda's Åke Östman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vallda from getting a goal against them. Inge Lindström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Giliusson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens-Erik Andersson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Maximilian Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Westerstrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inge Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Åhman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inge Lindström got free with Evert Åhman in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Vallda booed when Norsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Sefastsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vallda's Nicklas Albom got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Inge Lindström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vallda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Giliusson in the 69th minute of play forced Vallda's goalkeeper Åke Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Sefastsson in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Alfons Hägg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
