Christer Askberg in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Spekeröd FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Åberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Lundqvist in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Holm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bertil Lindgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Rosenfors booed when Spekeröd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Västerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Askberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronny Lundqvist hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Spekeröd FK's Christer Askberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertil Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Emanuel Lundström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spekeröd FK's Björn Brandin. Björn Brandin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Wictor Juhlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosenfors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Askberg in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Christer Askberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spekeröd FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Askberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Lundström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Rosenfors getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fredrik Fågel hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Christer Askberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Lindgren was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Rosenfors's zone, Christer Zachrisson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Lindgren came out of the goal and Christer Zachrisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Rosenfors's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Askberg came free, but Bertil Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Rosenfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lundström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Spekeröd FK booed when Rosenfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Christer Askberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosenfors's Bertil Lindgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carl Västerberg scored 3-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertil Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Askberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Rosenfors's goalkeeper Bertil Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Askberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spekeröd FK had played much better football throughout.
