Björn Brandin made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Karl-Åke Markusson sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Spekeröd FK's Christer Askberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Allbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christer Askberg struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sten Allbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spekeröd FK. When Christer Zachrisson came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Spekeröd FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Zachrisson couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Spekeröd FK got a freekick which was hit by Christer Zachrisson. When Karl-Åke Markusson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Skottorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Markusson couldn't finish the play. The Skottorp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spekeröd FK were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiktor Skark to make the kick off. Spekeröd FK's Björn Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Skark in the 55th minute of play. Christer Askberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Allbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Christer Zachrisson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Spekeröd FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Zachrisson couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Christer Askberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spekeröd FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Askberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Allbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, Spekeröd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Spekeröd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Hjortberg came free, but Björn Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 81 in the game by Christer Askberg from a close distance when the talented Sten Allbom managed to make a qualified save. Skottorp's players were relieved. Ingemar Björkman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Skark during the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Christer Askberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sten Allbom. That made the score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Spekeröd FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skottorp throughout the match.
