Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Abrahamsson started the match with the kick off. Sören Almstedt hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thomas Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Thomas Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoby RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Stoby RK's goalkeeper Andreas Esbjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Arne Nordstedt. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Stig-Arne Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slottsbron IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Nordstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Esbjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thomas Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slottsbron IK's Rasmus Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Lindgren in the 29th minute of play. Sören Almstedt scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rasmus Westerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rasmus Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Slottsbron IK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Abrahamsson came free, but Rasmus Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Simon Lindgren in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Slottsbron IK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Malcolm Sjögren hit a great ball. If Thomas Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasmus Westerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Rasmus Westerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Lindgren in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Thomas Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slottsbron IK's Rasmus Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Abrahamsson in the 74th minute of play. Thomas Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Westerberg having to interfere. Stoby RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Slottsbron IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stoby RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
