A sloppy throw-in by Peter Bergström in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC UNITED's Aldo Jerrold. In the 35th minute, one of FC UNITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC UNITED. In the 42nd minute Roger Täman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Klint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Dahlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Bivall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvin Dahlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes Stoby BF got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Moberg. When Tobias Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoby BF's protests and gave Tobias Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC UNITED booed when Stoby BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC UNITED players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stoby BF were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Jerrold was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Juhlin in the 78th minute of play forced Stoby BF's goalkeeper Oliver Bivall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Aldo Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stoby BF's Oliver Bivall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Aldo Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stoby BF's Oliver Bivall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC UNITED's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
