The audience thought a goal was coming when August Johansson got free with Joakim Hafström in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Swedish Military Academy's August Johansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Hafström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joakim Hafström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kåre Österberg. Gabriel Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joakim Hafström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Joakim Hafström made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Kielstedt made a kick off. A collision led to Glumslöv IFK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Johan Lilja hit a great ball. Joakim Hafström came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Swedish Military Academy's Gabriel Pil. Roland Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Bergfeldt in the 76th minute of play. Roland Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Kielstedt in the 79th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Simon Uggstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swedish Military Academy and the Glumslöv IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute of the match Kåre Österberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Hafström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Swedish Military Academy's goalkeeper Roland Blom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uno Fristedt. Roland Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Swedish Military Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
