The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Frykberg in the 5th minute of play forced Visseltofta's goalkeeper Oskar Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Frykberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Oskar Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Visseltofta's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Hagberg came free, but Oskar Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Hagberg scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakarias Beckman lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 19 minutes into the game, one of El Jefe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oskar Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Hagberg in the 30th minute of play. Sakarias Vik kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Jan-Ove Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Bållström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Oskar Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Hagberg in the 61st minute of play forced Visseltofta's goalkeeper Oskar Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Palmkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Apelquist having to interfere. Walter Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thomas Frykberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rune Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Walter Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Rune Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rune Hagberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Hagberg in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Isak Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Walter Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Larsson made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Jefe's Alf Åhman. When the final whistle sounded El Jefe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Visseltofta.
