Jesper Strandbergs short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Ingmar Alfors to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Gallin in the 8th minute of play forced Salims Mammas's goalkeeper Thomas Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Johnsson in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Fabian Deckberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Lundin. Salims Mammas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Deckberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Jesper Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Lundin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Johnsson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Robin Pil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Salims Mammas's Viktor Linqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jesper Strandbergs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Ingmar Alfors to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robin Pil took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Lundin. Thomas Lundin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jesper Strandberg succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 32nd minute, Evert Vacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Åmotfors FF's Bror Dahlgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Evert Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Alfors made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jesper Strandberg sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Salims Mammas's Evert Vacker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingmar Alfors. That made the score 2-3 after 38 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Örn in the 41st minute of play forced Salims Mammas's goalkeeper Thomas Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Deckbergh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ingmar Alfors. Åmotfors FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salims Mammas's Isac Nordström got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Åmotfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. Folke Deckbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jesper Strandberg made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Salims Mammas's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Örn came free, but Thomas Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Lundin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger Johnsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 57 minute of play. Salims Mammas's Viktor Linqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robin Pil, made in the 60th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Salims Mammas's goalkeeper Thomas Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristian Örn. 64 minutes into the game, Roger Johnsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Lundin. Roger Johnsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Thomas Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Örn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roger Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Örn got free with Thomas Lundin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute Jesper Strandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Lundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Johnsson in the 96th minute. Åmotfors FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
