Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Vimmerby booed when Olofström BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vimmerby's August Kruuse got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olofström BK were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Vimmerby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Frisk took the corner. A sloppy throw-in by Gunnar Pålsson in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vimmerby's Kasper Håkansson. In the 34th minute, Per-Åke Arenstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Nyqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Olofström BK's Lars Hedberg got a free kick in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Birger Johansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Nyqvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Harry Nyqvist made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Per-Åke Arenstedt sent off a good shot on target. Robert Säfström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Harry Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Arenstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56thth minute of the game Robert Säfström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vimmerby's Harry Nyqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Säfström in the 61st minute of play forced Vimmerby's goalkeeper Harry Nyqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Nyqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Harry Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hedberg in the 64th minute of play. Vimmerby's Harry Nyqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Johansson in the 65th minute of play. Harry Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Säfström in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Vimmerby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Runberg to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Kasper Håkansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vimmerby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olofström BK the free kick. In the 73rd minute Per-Åke Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Nyqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Åke Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Nyqvist having to interfere. Harry Nyqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Arenstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The Olofström BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vimmerby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
