Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Thidén started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hubert Flinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Bergstedt in the 3rd minute of play. Hubert Flinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Caspersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Flinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Arne Malmberg in the 6th minute. Daniel Thidén's late challenge caught a Hofors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Thidén helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Hubert Flinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Åke Caspersson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Jens-Åke Caspersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Flinck having to interfere. Sven-Arne Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hubert Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Granö's goalkeeper Hubert Flinck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granö's goalie prevented a goal. Sven-Arne Malmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hofors booed when Granö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Tham didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Malmberg got free with Hubert Flinck in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Granö booed when Hofors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hofors's Jens Vase got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rune Bjurström's late challenge caught a Granö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Bjurström helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Hofors got a freekick which was hit by Rune Bjurström. Thomas Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakarias Åström having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Sakarias Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Malmberg in the 60th minute of play forced Granö's goalkeeper Hubert Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sven-Arne Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Sven-Arne Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Jens-Åke Caspersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Flinck came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson. But to his dismay, Jens-Åke Caspersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 72nd match minute, Granö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Ström to maneuver through the defense. Rune Bjurström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Sven-Arne Malmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Arne Malmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Flinck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sakarias Åström made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Thomas Hedbom sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Bergstedt during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Granö booed when Hofors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Eddie Pedersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Hofors's Jonas Jönsson tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Hofors were the better team. Hofors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
