Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilhelm Bergström kicked off to start the match. When Sven-Arne Malmberg came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hofors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Malmberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hofors's zone, Enej Remec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakarias Åström came out of the goal and Enej Remec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Ekblom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teet Valdmets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Wilhelm Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sakarias Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Åke Caspersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teet Valdmets having to make a save. The supporters of Hofors booed when Åryd IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enej Remec didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Jonas Jönsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teet Valdmets showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åryd IK's goalie prevented a goal. Sven-Arne Malmberg in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teet Valdmets, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teet Valdmets. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sven-Arne Malmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hofors's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Malmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teet Valdmets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teet Valdmets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Caspersson in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Caspersson in the 38th minute of play forced Åryd IK's goalkeeper Teet Valdmets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Hofors's corner Jonas Jönsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teet Valdmets quite easily take care of the ball. If Jens-Åke Caspersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Bergstedt during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Åryd IK booed when Hofors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åryd IK's zone, Jens-Åke Caspersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teet Valdmets came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Caspersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Brian Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sakarias Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Teet Valdmets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Åryd IK's Konrad Ludwa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sven-Arne Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Valdmets having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Malmberg in the 64th minute of play forced Åryd IK's goalkeeper Teet Valdmets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Åryd IK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Enej Remec hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Jens-Åke Caspersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Caspersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Arne Malmberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Teet Valdmets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hofors. After a rather tough play, Åryd IK's Wilhelm Bergström got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 77 minutes, Sven-Arne Malmberg made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Åryd IK's Teet Valdmets tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Caspersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hofors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åryd IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hofors's Jens-Åke Caspersson got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Sven-Arne Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Åryd IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Caspersson came free, but Teet Valdmets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Arne Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Valdmets having to interfere. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Hofors. Jonas Jönsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teet Valdmets. 3-0. Åryd IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
