Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sven-Åke Deckberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Sixten Axelsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Helström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thor Torstensson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Klas Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Rudqvist in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Hampus Beckman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Knutby IFK booed when Malå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Vesterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Åke Rudqvist scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klas Almstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Hampus Beckman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Torstensson in the 26th minute of play forced Malå's goalkeeper Hampus Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knutby IFK's Birger Bremming got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Knutby IFK defense, Peter Löfgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klas Almstedt. The Knutby IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klas Almstedt should have stopped the shot. Hampus Beckman was a little too slow when Sven-Åke Deckberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Tomas Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Klas Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Löfgren to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Malå defense, Alexander Hjeltman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Beckman. The Malå fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Beckman should have stopped the shot. Tomas Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Klas Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Knutby IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Peter Löfgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Knutby IFK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sixten Axelsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Knutby IFK's zone, Tomas Vesterberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klas Almstedt came out of the goal and Tomas Vesterberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Peter Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malå's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klas Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Knutby IFK's Klas Almstedt got control of the ball when Tomas Vesterberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hampus Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Bremming in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Malå getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Helström hit a great ball. Peter Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Almstedt having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Knutby IFK's goalkeeper Klas Almstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Åke Rudqvist. If Tomas Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Almstedt having to interfere. The supporters of Knutby IFK booed when Malå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Hedström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Tomas Vesterberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Vesterberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Knutby IFK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
