Linné City's Claes Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Sjöberg in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Evert Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, PP Plastankorna's Jesper Sjöberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Douglas Lang hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Evert Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Lång having to interfere. Ingvar Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Wallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Linné City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jesper Sjöberg 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Jesper Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, PP Plastankorna's Olle Biörk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Kjell Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Sjöberg in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Siggesson in the 48th minute of play forced Linné City's goalkeeper Claes Helander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Linné City getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ingmar Hult hit a great ball. 4-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Jesper Sjöberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Claes Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Sjöberg in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Jesper Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Evert Skytt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linné City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Skytt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Siggesson in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Jesper Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PP Plastankorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Fredrik Wallman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ingvar Lång, 4-1. Ingvar Lång had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fredrik Wallman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 82nd match minute, PP Plastankorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Siggesson to maneuver through the defense. Evert Skytt struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ingvar Lång didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linné City. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Siggesson in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Helander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Sjöberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Linné City's goalkeeper Claes Helander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Helander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesper Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. PP Plastankorna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
