After 10 played minutes Tumbax Terrors got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Vesterberg. A collision led to Tumbax Terrors getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mattias Svensson hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Tumbax Terrors's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Björkman came free, but Elliot Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Philip Kråk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliot Klint. Tumbax Terrors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Kråk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elliot Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Kråk in the 32nd minute of play. Mattias Svensson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Adam Malmström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tumbax Terrors. After 39 minutes of play, Dians Stjärnor's Lennart Björkman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Klint was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elliot Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Lundberg in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Philip Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Klint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dians Stjärnor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Björkman to strike the kick off in the second half. Elliot Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Dians Stjärnor's Philip Kråk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliot Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Lennart Drewitz fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dians Stjärnor's protests and gave Lennart Drewitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Dians Stjärnor got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Drewitz. Adam Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svensson in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Svensson in the 66th minute of play forced Dians Stjärnor's goalkeeper Adam Malmström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mattias Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tumbax Terrors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Svensson couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Philip Kråk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elliot Klint, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Abrahamsson got free with Elliot Klint in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mattias Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Dians Stjärnor's Elliot Klint threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennart Björkman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Mattias Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Malmström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Björkman in the 95th minute of play forced Tumbax Terrors's goalkeeper Elliot Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
