Rudolf Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Johannes Ahlbeck sped through Kvissleby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudolf Lund. 15 minutes into the game, Kilsmo IFK's Igor Donio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudolf Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 19th minute, Kvissleby's Sonny Björkdal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Johannes Ahlbeck took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Lund. Rudolf Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Johannes Ahlbeck sped through Kvissleby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudolf Lund. In the 40thth minute of the game Johannes Ahlbeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvissleby's Rudolf Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Igor Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rudolf Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Ahlbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Ahlbeck in the 47th minute of play forced Kvissleby's goalkeeper Rudolf Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eskil Söderqvist was the one to do the kick off. Eskil Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ivar Asserlind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvissleby. Igor Donio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Rudolf Lund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute, Marijo Kušar made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Asserlind. Kilsmo IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. The audience was convinced that Igor Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Lund was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Eskil Söderqvist came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Kvissleby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Söderqvist couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, Kilsmo IFK's Johannes Ahlbeck made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Lund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Johannes Ahlbeck could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Rudolf Lund however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Kvissleby defense, Johannes Ahlbeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudolf Lund. The Kvissleby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudolf Lund should have stopped the shot. Kvissleby were furious when Karl-Magnus Larsson was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 83 minutes into the game, one of Kvissleby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Igor Donio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Kvissleby getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Marijo Kušar hit a great ball. Johannes Ahlbecks short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Rudolf Lund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Kilsmo IFK booed when Kvissleby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kvissleby's zone, Johannes Ahlbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Lund came out of the goal and Johannes Ahlbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Staffan Bergsten hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Kilsmo IFK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kilsmo IFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
