In the 4th minute, Andy Askestät got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Husqvarna FF's goalkeeper Viggo Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Erik Berggren. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Husqvarna FF's goalkeeper Viggo Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kättilstorp FF booed when Husqvarna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes in the game Karl-Axel Fagerberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alvar Stålman. A collision led to Husqvarna FF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ole-Einar Paus hit a great ball. The long shot by Alvar Stålman in the 23rd minute really tested Viggo Magnusson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Viggo Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Ahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Kättilstorp FF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Karl-Axel Fagerberg hit a great ball. Alvar Stålman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Husqvarna FF's goalkeeper Viggo Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Ahlberg. The supporters of Kättilstorp FF booed when Husqvarna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Abrams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Erik Berggren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viggo Magnusson having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Ahlberg made a kick off. Viggo Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Michael Ahlberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Karl-Michael Ahlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viggo Magnusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Harald Hökkvist hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Erik Berggren took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viggo Magnusson. Viggo Magnusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Michael Ahlberg in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viggo Magnusson saved Husqvarna FF from getting behind. If Andy Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
