When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mikael Bremming put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edvin Asserlind. Helge Hermansson's late challenge caught a BK Häcken Tången's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helge Hermansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BK Häcken Tången booed when Kattgårdens I F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Kattgårdens I F's protests and gave Lars Strandberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Kattgårdens I F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Strandberg to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Oriol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Kattgårdens I F's Oscar Bergendahl got a free kick in the 75th minute. Mikael Bremming scored 4-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin Asserlind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
