Värmlands Nysäter IK's Tom Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Hernandez in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Leon Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Värmlands Nysäter IK's Jarl Lindkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Gierasik was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Olsson in the 13th minute of play forced Svartbäcken FC's goalkeeper Tadeusz Gierasik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tom Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Svartbäcken FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Jonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Andy Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Ros during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Värmlands Nysäter IK got a freekick which was hit by Tage Ros. The long shot by Einar Hult in the 31st minute really tested Tom Jonsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tom Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hernandez in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Svartbäcken FC booed when Värmlands Nysäter IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leon Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svartbäcken FC's Ladislao Refugio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Tom Jonsson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ladislao Refugio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tom Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartbäcken FC. Tadeusz Gierasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Samuelsson in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes, Michel Hård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svartbäcken FC and the Värmlands Nysäter IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michel Hård hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Svartbäcken FC's Tadeusz Gierasik got control of the ball when Andy Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Leon Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tom Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartbäcken FC. The referee gave Svartbäcken FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Einar Hult, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Värmlands Nysäter IK's Tom Jonsson. 1-1. Jarl Lindkvist's late challenge caught a Svartbäcken FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Lindkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Jarl Lindkvist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Samuelsson got free with Tadeusz Gierasik in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tom Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Jonsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Hernandez's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Tom Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hernandez in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Värmlands Nysäter IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Svartbäcken FC.
