Christian Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Åtviaberg's Per-Åke Kock got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christian Brask. When Jonsered IF's Torbjörn Zachrisson in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Zachrisson in the 45th minute of play forced Åtviaberg's goalkeeper Max Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Torbjörn Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Blomqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edward Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Brask having to interfere. Max Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sten Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Torbjörn Zachrisson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Jonsered IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Zachrisson couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute of the match Per-Åke Kock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Brask showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Max Biörnberg was a little too slow when Torbjörn Zachrisson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
