Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Frank Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Lövkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Frank Brovall notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AIK's Per-Erik Lövkvist. Per-Erik Lövkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manfred Ödmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Lövkvist having to interfere. Henry Ahlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mats Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tage Möllgren made a huge save. Dennis Ahlrot charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Ahlrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dennis Ahlrot hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Manfred Ödmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's Per-Erik Lövkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Brovall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Lövkvist having to interfere. After 21 played minutes AIK got a freekick which was hit by Åke Lang. Kurt Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mats Brun struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tage Möllgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK. Manfred Ödmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Ödmann in the 37th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Per-Erik Lövkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Iliria's goalkeeper Tage Möllgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Ödmann in the 47th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Per-Erik Lövkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A wasted opportunity for FC Iliria. 53 minutes into the game, Kurt Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Iliria the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Kurt Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Brun in the 56th minute of play forced FC Iliria's goalkeeper Tage Möllgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zygmunt Zdanowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Mats Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Johnsson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Bengt-Arne Ennegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Mats Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Iliria's Tage Möllgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Brovall got free with Per-Erik Lövkvist in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Erik Lövkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Ödmann in the 69th minute of the match. Manfred Ödmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Erik Lövkvist made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Frank Brovall sent off a good shot on target. Hans Johnsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, AIK's Kurt Bergström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tage Möllgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Brun in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tage Möllgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mats Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Möllgren having to interfere. When Mats Brun, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tage Möllgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zygmunt Zdanowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Möllgren having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
