When Sol Blessing came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sol Blessing couldn't finish the play. Kurt Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Malte Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 徐镇渊 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sol Blessing in the 20th minute. 徐镇渊 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sol Blessing's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Richard Bock struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. 徐镇渊 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. In the 44th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Blessing to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Thomas Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Queto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Esbjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 81 played minutes Billdal got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Esbjörnsson. Liverpool FC's Sol Blessing got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sol Blessing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
