The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ribersborgs IF getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Oskar Karlstedt hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Tobias Wenerdahl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Ahlberg skillfully saved the ball. Erland Västerberg's late challenge caught a Vindelgransele FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Västerberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vindelgransele FK booed when Ribersborgs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Västerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isak Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isak Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Tomasson in the 26th minute of play. Oskar Karlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Vindelgransele FK's Tobias Wenerdahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isak Ahlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Patrik Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Allan Söderkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kent Hermansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Allan Söderkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half Vindelgransele FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Lindström made a kick off. Ribersborgs IF's Kent Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ribersborgs IF's Isak Ahlberg got control of the ball when Linus Beckström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Benjamin Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vindelgransele FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Lindström couldn't finish the play. Isak Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Ludvig Lägdin made a precise shot to the right of Isak Ahlberg. Ribersborgs IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Patrik Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Kent Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Allan Söderkvist. Vindelgransele FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Allan Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Hermansson in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Vindelgransele FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Ribersborgs IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Henriksson. In the 83rd minute, Ribersborgs IF's Sverker Enström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sverker Enström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ribersborgs IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sverker Enström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Ribersborgs IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sverker Enström hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Kent Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribersborgs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Benjamin Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Ahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vindelgransele FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
