Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Djurgårdens IF's Alcides Niedermeier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Djurgårdens IF's Morgan Söderberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Morgan Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Simon Harman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gällaryd City FC's Villiam Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Niedermeier in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Harman in the 17th minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Klemensson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Alcides Niedermeier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgårdens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elliot Lindholm hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Söderberg. In the 46th minute Alcides Niedermeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elliot Lindholm made a kick off. Bengt-Åke Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Sjöberg in the 63rd minute of play. Simon Harman's late challenge caught a Djurgårdens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Harman helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Åke Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. August Sundström charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed August Sundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Djurgårdens IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. August Sundström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Sjöberg in the 71st minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Knut Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gällaryd City FC's Albin Klemensson got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Knut Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Lindholm in the 92nd minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Djurgårdens IF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gällaryd City FC to leave the ground with a draw.
