Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn started the match with the kick off. Arne Aspengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Ingemarsson in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Paulin. With a little luck, Elfsborg's Arne Aspengren got control of the ball when Alfred Paulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Aspengren was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Alfred Paulin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfred Paulin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Paulin. Tim Bergström's late challenge caught a FC INVANDRARE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, FC INVANDRARE's Thomas Vennerlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Aspengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vennerlund came free, but Arne Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Paulin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Arne Aspengren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Elfsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Bergström to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, FC INVANDRARE's Thomas Vennerlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Aspengren. Arne Aspengren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 31 minutes, Panagiotis Veniamin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC INVANDRARE and the Elfsborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Vallman missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 33 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ike Casillas right hand side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Vennerlund made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Paulin in the 55th minute of play forced Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ike Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to FC INVANDRARE getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sten Widberg hit a great ball. With 65 minutes on the clock, Snorre Snabl commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC INVANDRARE! When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Elfsborg's Jonathan Vallman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ike Casillas. 75 minutes into the game, Elfsborg's Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ike Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Elfsborg's Arne Aspengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Paulin in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ike Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Marcus Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vennerlund in the 89th minute of play forced Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Aspengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elfsborg! Arne Aspengren had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo Örtendal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC INVANDRARE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elfsborg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
