Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ekshärad IF's Andreas Jespersson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvin Norström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasmus Täman's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Ekshärad IF got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Tomasson. Ingvar Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Norström having to interfere. Rasmus Täman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alvin Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Leif Lundgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svartsjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekshärad IF the free kick. The supporters of Ekshärad IF booed when Svartsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Andreas Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Ekshärad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Bergren to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Ekshärad IF got a freekick which was hit by Philip Bergren. 28 minutes into the match, Svartsjö's Vidar Hylander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alvin Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Täman in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ekshärad IF's Edvard Tomasson got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Andreas Jespersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svartsjö's Jan Granqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rasmus Täman to make the kick off. Rasmus Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tommy Granqvist fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekshärad IF's protests and gave Tommy Granqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Norström having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Jens-Erik Harlén sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvin Norström skillfully saved the ball. Edvard Tomasson kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Rasmus Täman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ekshärad IF getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Philip Bergren hit a great ball. Jan Granqvist made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Edgar Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jan Granqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekshärad IF. Edgar Lindqvists short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Jan Granqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ekshärad IF's Andreas Jespersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Granqvist. That made the score 2-1 after 90 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Svartsjö's zone, Andreas Jespersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Granqvist came out of the goal and Andreas Jespersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Andreas Jespersson took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jan Granqvist to make any attempt to save it.
