In the 25th minute Richard Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Runberg in the 27th minute of play. If Emil Kellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Nils-Åke Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visingsö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Nils-Åke Högström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vännäsby getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Osvald Ahlgren hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Georg Mager kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredrik Svanér. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Nils-Åke Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fredrik Svanér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Högström was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Visingsö FF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Eliasson. If Axel Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Nordmark was a little too slow when Dennis Runberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-3. Morgan Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ingemar Nordmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vännäsby. 65 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Högström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Fredrik Svanér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Odeen charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Odeen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Odeen hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Georg Mager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Dennis Runberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Runberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fredrik Svanér stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Åke Högström's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Sten Ahlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
