Edvard Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Edvard Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iver Holmstrøm went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Bäcklin in the 13th minute of play forced Volvo IF's goalkeeper Edvard Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Kurt Bure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes of play, Lammhult's Patrick Strömqvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Ek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Volvo IF's Edvard Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iver Holmstrøm in the 21st minute of play. Edvard Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Kjellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Volvo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Strömqvist came free, but Edvard Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Volvo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Örtendahl came free, but Edvard Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Lammhult were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Iver Holmstrøm made the kick off in the second half. Joseph Ryberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Edvard Ek made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Volvo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Iver Holmstrøm came free, but Edvard Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iver Holmstrøm had several of the Volvo IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Edvard Ek as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edvard Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Kjellberg in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Volvo IF's goalkeeper Edvard Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iver Holmstrøm. 60 minutes into the match, Joseph Ryberg notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Volvo IF's Edvard Ek. Edvard Ek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edvard Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iver Holmstrøm in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Lammhult booed when Volvo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Alebom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, one of Volvo IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Lammhult's Frank Bäcklin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edvard Ek. Edvard Ek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joseph Ryberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 85 minute of play.
