In the 23rd match minute, Mörrum IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Pedroso took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Brovall. Lennart Brovall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Charlie Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart Brovall having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Pedroso in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Brovall saved Mörrum IFK from getting behind. Charlie Söderberg charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Söderberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mörrum IFK booed when örgryte is was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Staffan Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Brovall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Oscar Kråk rounded örgryte is's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The wind increased when Rune Tham made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Paulo Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. örgryte is's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Charlie Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Brovall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Staffan Forsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lennart Brovall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for örgryte is. Charlie Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Brovall having to interfere. When Charlie Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the örgryte is fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Söderberg couldn't finish the play. With his leg Lennart Brovall managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when örgryte is's Paulo Pedroso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Charlie Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. örgryte is's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Brovall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Charlie Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Kielberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of örgryte is's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. örgryte is may have spent more time on the ball, but Mörrum IFK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
