When Skillingsfors FF's Göran Vedholm in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Göran Vedholm put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonas Mattsson. Göran Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Skillingsfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Malm to maneuver through the defense. Peter Hedling might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Urbasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Hedling ran back to his position shaking his head. Reine Nord hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jonas Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Vedholm's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Göran Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Mattsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Malm in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Mattsson saved Venestad IF from getting behind. Jonas Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Vedholm went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Venestad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Hellkvist to maneuver through the defense. Göran Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, André Beck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göran Vedholm in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Mattsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Göran Vedholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jonas Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, André Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skillingsfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Hellkvist in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Göran Vedholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venestad IF's Tommy Söderberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Karl Malm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Mattsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Göran Vedholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jonas Mattsson made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Göran Vedholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, André Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skillingsfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Göran Vedholm fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Karl Malm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jonas Mattsson made a huge save. The Venestad IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skillingsfors FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
