Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Skärhamn's Dennis Asmundsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Reine Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Billing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skärhamn's zone, Reine Sandell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Billing came out of the goal and Reine Sandell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kil IF's Reine Sandell in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skärhamn's goalie prevented a goal. Erling Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Billing having to interfere. When Erling Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kil IF's protests and gave Erling Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Erling Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Billing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erling Lundström went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Kil IF's Edvin Ekenberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Reine Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Lundström to make the kick off. Reine Sandell might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Billing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reine Sandell ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kil IF's goalkeeper Andreas Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erling Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ulf Billing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Kil IF's Erling Lundström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulf Billing. Ulf Billing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Skärhamn's Anton Åkesson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ulf Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
