When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kristoffer Gunnarsson sped through Rossön FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pål Lidman. Bo Telin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rossön FF's Charles Bergstedt got a free kick in the 14th minute. Pål Lidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Gunnarsson in the 28th minute of the match. Dániel Fehér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Charles Bergstedt put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Rossön FF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Charles Bergstedt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Björkdal in the 37th minute of play forced Rossön FF's goalkeeper Pål Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Ekelund in the 40th minute of play forced Backa IF's goalkeeper Dániel Fehér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Olofsson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pål Lidman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristoffer Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Rossön FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Backa IF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villiam Lundgren to strike the kick off in the second half. John Ekelund charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Ekelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rossön FF's John Ekelund got a free kick in the 51st minute. Pål Lidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Gunnarsson in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rossön FF's zone, Kristoffer Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Lidman came out of the goal and Kristoffer Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pål Lidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Gunnarsson in the 70th minute. Herman Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Lidman having to interfere. Herman Sjögren struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Pål Lidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Backa IF. Henric Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dániel Fehér. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henric Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Oskar Björkdal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Backa IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
