Roger Apelquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Lundkvist during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Pansar IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Lundkvist to maneuver through the defense. Roger Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Arne Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Pansar IF's zone, Hugo Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Henriksson came out of the goal and Hugo Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Gustav Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
