Arvid Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kılıçhan Tanyeli's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 26 played minutes Åsensbruk IF got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Ekström. When Gunnar Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kılıçhan Tanyeli sped through Stoby RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arvid Lundgren. After 39 played minutes Åsensbruk IF got a freekick which was hit by Alf Springfält. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Wictor Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kılıçhan Tanyeli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Wictor Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Ek having to interfere. Stoby RK's Arvid Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Stoby RK from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes of play, Åsensbruk IF's Pavel Glăvan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvid Lundgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åsensbruk IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
