The Torshälla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mikael Alebom made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Adrian Öberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Fred Strömbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikael Alebom. The goal made the score 2-1. Telmo Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Sângeorzan in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Emanuel Browall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Alebom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Öberg in the 37th minute. Adrian Öberg's late challenge caught a Torshälla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Öberg helped the player get up and apologised. Mikael Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Strömbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mikael Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Öberg in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Strömbom to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Torshälla's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Sandwall came free, but Mikael Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Albom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Sângeorzan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Telmo Cavalcante made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, ÖsterIF's goalkeeper Telmo Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionică Sângeorzan. In the 67th match minute, ÖsterIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Öberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ÖsterIF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kåre Wennerqvist hit a great ball. Christer Siggesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Alebom came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by ÖsterIF's Fred Strömbom. But to his dismay, Fred Strömbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With 78 minutes on the clock, Melker Esbjörnsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of ÖsterIF booed when Torshälla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Fred Strömbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionică Sângeorzan in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Telmo Cavalcante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute, Ragnar Sandwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Öberg in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, ÖsterIF's Adrian Öberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Alebom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 94th minute Adrian Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ÖsterIF fully deserved thier win.
