Ingemar Alebäck started the match with the kick off. If Ingemar Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ivarsson having to interfere. In the 11th minute Karl-Michael Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyryl Buczak kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ingemar Alebäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gnestas Springpojkar's zone, Karl-Michael Hultstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ivarsson came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Hultstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gnestas Springpojkar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Elliott Hedlund hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, Mossen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Stensson to maneuver through the defense. Omer Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ted Cane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnestas Springpojkar. 33 minutes into the match, Gnestas Springpojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Ekblom came free, but Alex Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Carlsson in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute Alfons Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omer Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Cane having to interfere. If Omer Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfons Ekblom made a kick off. Ted Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Alebäck in the 54th minute of play. Ingemar Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Cane having to interfere. Omer Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ted Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ivarsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Alebäck in the 73rd minute of play forced Mossen FK's goalkeeper Ted Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Peter Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Michael Hultstrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Ivarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Ingemar Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Cane having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Alfons Ekblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Cane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elliott Hedlund went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Peter Carlsson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
