Gilbert Kihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Wiberg in the 3rd minute of the match. Gilbert Kihlman was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Alf Wiberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alf Wiberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Republic of Sundsvall's Alf Wiberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Christopher Malmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Vennerdal in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Björklinge RK got a freekick which was hit by Malte Käller. 16 minutes into the game, Malte Käller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björklinge RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Republic of Sundsvall the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Wiberg in the 21st minute of play forced Björklinge RK's goalkeeper Gilbert Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Per Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Republic of Sundsvall defense, Christopher Malmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Rune Wahlström. The Republic of Sundsvall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Rune Wahlström should have stopped the shot. Bengt-Rune Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Crosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Björklinge RK's Bengt-Rune Vennerdal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Björklinge RK's Christopher Malmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Republic of Sundsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Vennerdal came free, but Bengt-Rune Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Käller in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Bengt-Rune Vennerdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 48 minutes into the match, Republic of Sundsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Vennerdal came free, but Bengt-Rune Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Wiberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Kevin Kolberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Bengt-Rune Wahlström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilbert Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Bengt-Rune Vennerdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björklinge RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Gilbert Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Hägert, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Alf Wiberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Gilbert Kihlman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilbert Kihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Crosta kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Björklinge RK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alfons Bergqvist hit a great ball. Alf Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play, Republic of Sundsvall's Alf Wiberg made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Kihlman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Björklinge RK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
