To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilhelm Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Viksjö's Vilhelm Lång got control of the ball when Cesare D'Eramo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viksjö's Vilhelm Lång proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Viksjö from getting a goal against them. Hall of Fame's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernst Skröder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Lång breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare D'Eramo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Fritz Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesare D'Eramo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilhelm Lång prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Viksjö's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Engström came free, but Vilhelm Lång reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Lång made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare D'Eramo in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Fritz Olsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cesare D'Eramo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viksjö's Vilhelm Lång was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Hall of Fame's Cesare D'Eramo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilhelm Lång narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Freddie Markusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Lång was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Vilhelm Lång made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare D'Eramo in the 78th minute of play. Manfred Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesare D'Eramo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilhelm Lång read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fritz Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Lång was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Vilhelm Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare D'Eramo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Manfred Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Verner Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
