Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt-Åke Ekberg started the match with the kick off. Jörn Viklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Gustafsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Öberg in the 21st minute of play forced Käppala FC's goalkeeper Holger Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Tord Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Roy Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Holger Gustafsson. Käppala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Holger Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Viklund in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Käppala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Öberg came free, but Holger Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Västerlanda's Roy Öberg got a free kick in the 49th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gösta Ödmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Ödmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt-Åke Ekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Einar Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gösta Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Viklund got free with Holger Gustafsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörn Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Ödmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Hellkvist having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Gustafsson having to interfere. Einar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Ekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Lagerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Holger Gustafsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roy Öberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Västerlanda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
