After 11 played minutes Skinnskatteberg got a freekick which was hit by Albert Forsberg. 13 minutes into the game, Örebro's Eric Edström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Ove Aleberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Stig-Ove Aleberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Georg Aleberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Björklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örebro's Martin Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Ove Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Aleberg in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Georg Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Aleberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skinnskatteberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjell-Arne Björklund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Martin Holmgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
