The supporters of Örebro booed when Röstånga IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Gustafsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Röstånga IF defense, Georg Aleberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Gustafsson. The Röstånga IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Gustafsson should have stopped the shot. When Nils Fagerberg came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Röstånga IF fans jumped to their feet. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Edström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ian Gustafsson made a huge save. Ian Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Röstånga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Aleberg came free, but Ian Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Edström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ian Gustafsson made a huge save. Christian Isaksson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ian Gustafsson. Eric Edström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 95th playminute. When the match was over Örebro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Röstånga IF throughout the match.
