Skåpafors IF Juniorer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Olof Hamberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jan-Olof Hamberg scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Rudkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Paul Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Skåpafors IF Juniorer's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Ferm came free, but Jens-Åke Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Ferm was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Åke Rudkvist had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Paul Ferm from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Paul Ferm was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Landvetter's Brian Sefastsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jan-Olof Hambergs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Jens-Åke Rudkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan-Olof Hamberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Rudkvist having to interfere. Jens-Åke Rudkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Ferm's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Jan-Olof Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Paul Ferm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens-Åke Rudkvist. Paul Ferm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 88th minute, Paul Ferm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paul Ferm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Rudkvist was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Jens-Åke Rudkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Hamberg in the 97th minute.
