With a little luck, Skånes Fagerhult's Sture Sjöberg got control of the ball when Brian Sefastsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sture Sjöberg made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jan-Olof Hamberg sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidar Salqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş ran back to his position shaking his head. Skånes Fagerhult's Sture Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Skånes Fagerhult from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vidar Salqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skånes Fagerhult's Hans Harman got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sture Sjöberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paul Ferm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Tony Rolandsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sture Sjöberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Rolandsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Skånes Fagerhult's goalkeeper Sture Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Sefastsson. Sture Sjöberg was a little too slow when Jan-Olof Hamberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 38th match minute, Landvetter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Rolandsson to maneuver through the defense. Sture Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Landvetter's Brian Sefastsson. But to his dismay, Brian Sefastsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Sture Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Hamberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skånes Fagerhult's goalkeeper Sture Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Skånes Fagerhult's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Hamberg came free, but Sture Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Rolandsson's late challenge caught a Skånes Fagerhult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Rolandsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skånes Fagerhult booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Landvetter's Paul Ferm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Sjöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Hamberg in the 65th minute of play forced Skånes Fagerhult's goalkeeper Sture Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skånes Fagerhult's Sture Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Hamberg in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Landvetter! Vidar Salqvist had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Olof Andreasson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Landvetter's zone, Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Salqvist came out of the goal and Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skånes Fagerhult's Sture Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Hamberg in the 95th minute of play. Landvetter's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
