Stig Ahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kåre Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arne Gulliksson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ljusdal IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Gulliksson couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Kristian Bohlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljusdal IK and the Dala-Floda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dala-Floda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljusdal IK the free kick. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Falck in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Åhman saved Ljusdal IK from getting behind. Stig Ahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bengt-Rune Målare came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ljusdal IK fans jumped to their feet. The wind increased when Arne Gulliksson made the kick off in the second half. If Verner Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kåre Åhman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kåre Åhman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Ahlquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Ljusdal IK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Ahlquist came free, but Kåre Åhman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Melin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verner Isaksson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Kåre Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Eddie Falck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Åhman. Ljusdal IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Falck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Arne Gulliksson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bengt-Rune Målare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljusdal IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Målare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Kilman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arne Gulliksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
