Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emil Tinglöv got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Röbäck got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Helström. 12 minutes into the game, Ove Östensson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Magnusson. Ove Östensson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Ove Östensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Göran Bank sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Konrad Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Östensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Enegren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adam Magnusson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 31st minute Ove Östensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Röbäck's goalkeeper Adam Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Enegren. Douglas Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Adam Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Östensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Evert Enegren took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Adam Magnusson to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Östensson made a kick off. After 67 minutes of play, Lyrestad's Evert Enegren made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evert Enegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Röbäck's zone, Göran Bank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Magnusson came out of the goal and Göran Bank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ted Borre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gustav Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Röbäck's Adam Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Enegren in the 77th minute of play. Adam Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Hjortsberg in the 78th minute of play. Adam Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Hjortsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Göran Bank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Adam Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Göran Bank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Röbäck's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Hjortsberg came free, but Adam Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 99 minutes into the game, Lyrestad's Ove Östensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Magnusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. There was no doubt that Lyrestad were the better team. Lyrestad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
