Albert Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Lundin went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Helsingborg IF's Timmy Söderberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Timmy Söderberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Helsingborg IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Timmy Söderberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 21 minutes into the game, one of Helsingborg IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Norberg in the 26th minute of play forced Fristad's goalkeeper Albert Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Örtendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Kleen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fristad's Joakim Ahlfors got a free kick in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Helsingborg IF's Eugenio Scivittaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Kleen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dennis Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fristad's Albert Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Fristad from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Scivittaro made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Dennis Örtendahl made a precise shot to the right of Albert Kleen. Fristad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Albert Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Höijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Lundgren hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Helsingborg IF's attentive Eugenio Scivittaro managed to snatch the ball when Dan Wallmark made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. A collision led to Helsingborg IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arman Sjögren hit a great ball. Joakim Ahlfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helge Hagberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Ahlfors ran back to his position shaking his head. Albert Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Scivittaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Fristad's Joakim Ahlfors got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Joakim Ahlfors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fristad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Ahlfors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Eugenio Scivittaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Kleen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 93rd minute, Eugenio Scivittaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Kleen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Helsingborg IF had played much better football throughout.
