Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karl-Ove Myr made the kick off which started today's match. Måns Dahlbom hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Jon Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Egon Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Moreira. Virestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egon Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Värnamo FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hubert Hjortsberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 21 minutes of play, Virestad's Karl-Ove Myr made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Knutsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olle Knutsson made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hubert Hjortsberg sent off a good shot on target. Tales Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egon Öberg went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Myr dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olle Knutsson, 2-2. Olle Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Hjortsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Knutsson was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Karl-Ove Myr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Ove Myr really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Bock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Hubert Hjortsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Hjortsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karl-Ove Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Hubert Hjortsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Värnamo FF's zone, Karl-Ove Myr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Knutsson came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Myr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olle Knutsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Virestad's Hubert Hjortsberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When Hubert Hjortsberg came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Virestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Hjortsberg couldn't finish the play. Måns Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Hubert Hjortsberg in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Olle Knutsson's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Värnamo FF's Joachim Siöberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Hubert Hjortsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Ove Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Olle Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Virestad were the better team. Virestad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
