Södertälje Sportklubb's Ingmar Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Lundgren in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Sven Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aneby BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Vassenius got free with Karl Albohm in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Södertälje Sportklubb were awarded a corner. Bertil Pååk went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 18th minute, Södertälje Sportklubb's Erland Jakobsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Karl Albohm made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Dan Vassenius sent off a good shot on target. Dan Vassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Albohm having to interfere. In the 47th minute Tor Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Erland Jakobsson made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Södertälje Sportklubb's Sture Lidberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sven Lundgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ingmar Strömberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tor Bark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ingmar Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Bark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ingmar Strömberg made a huge save. A collision led to Södertälje Sportklubb getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Konrad Östensson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Aneby BK defense, Erland Jakobsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Albohm. The Aneby BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Albohm should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Aneby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Vassenius came free, but Karl Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Jakobsson in the 80th minute of the match. Karl Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Aneby BK's Adrian Diaconu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Södertälje Sportklubb's Konrad Östensson got a free kick in the 89th minute.
