After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gösta Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapidly IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthon Sandwall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ture Norberg having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Tugges Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Fransson came free, but Ture Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tugges Talanger booed when Rapidly IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gösta Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthon Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ture Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Sandwall in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Rapidly IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Anthon Sandwall fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ture Norberg, passed just outside the right post. Anthon Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Norberg having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Gösta Fransson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ture Norberg. Gösta Fransson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Tugges Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Fransson came free, but Ture Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Sandwall in the 70th minute. Vilgot Molin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthon Sandwall didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 78th minute. Rapidly IK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Gösta Fransson sped through Tugges Talanger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Norberg. Gösta Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Rapidly IK played a much better game than Tugges Talanger and deserved their victory. The Tugges Talanger players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
