With a little luck, Bärsärkarna FC's Karl Olenberg got control of the ball when Anthon Sandwall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthon Sandwall in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Napoleon Brodzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Soned having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Bärsärkarna FC's Louis Suchanek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Soned made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 31 played minutes Bärsärkarna FC got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Malmgren. In the 32nd minute of the match Michel Mårtensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Olenberg skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Louis Suchanek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bärsärkarna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Suchanek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Soned breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Mårtensson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Louis Suchanek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ted Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gösta Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes, Rapidly IK's Stig-Arne Gadd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl Olenberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapidly IK reached it. Karl Olenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Sandwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Anthon Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Olenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Fransson in the 72nd minute of play forced Bärsärkarna FC's goalkeeper Karl Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Suchanek in the 75th minute of play forced Rapidly IK's goalkeeper Ted Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Verner Bergman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ted Soned was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bärsärkarna FC's Karl Olenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Björk in the 86th minute of play. Fritz Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rapidly IK's Oliver Lindman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Rapidly IK defense, Verner Bergman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Soned. The Rapidly IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Soned should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bärsärkarna FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
