Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Ove Nordström started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, GHOST's Jack Nordström got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jan-Olof Lundberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Bratt. GHOST's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johan Dalström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Johan Dalström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Johan Dalström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bratt was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Vännäs's Johan Dalström got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Vännäs booed when GHOST was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Nordström in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Finsberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes GHOST got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Eliasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Sörman in the 48th minute of play forced GHOST's goalkeeper Christian Bratt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herman Sörman to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Ove Nordström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Ek having to make a save. Michael Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Sven-Ove Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, GHOST's Christian Bratt got control of the ball when Johan Dalström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Bratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Apelqvist in the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Dalström got free with Christian Bratt in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Herman Sörman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bratt was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GHOST's Jack Nordström got a free kick in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vännäs's Herman Sörman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Bratt. That made the score 0-1 after 73 minutes of play. Johan Dalström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bratt having to interfere. After some careless play in the GHOST defense, Johan Dalström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Bratt. The GHOST fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Bratt should have stopped the shot. Christian Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Fabian Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Apelqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Apelqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Nordström during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GHOST getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jack Nordström hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Herman Sörman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vännäs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
